I am a Grading Assessor working in the West Rand. I would like to assist Tourism establishments in the area to get star graded. 

The Department of Tourism has introduced the Tourism Grading Support Programme to reduce the cost burden of grading by offering a discount of 80%. 

To apply for the 80% discount, please complete the online application on the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa (TGCSA) website

Please take note of the following points when completing the application form;

·         Select the ‘opt in’ option (if you select ‘opt out’ you will be required to pay the full amount)

·         Select Thapelo Komane as your Grading Assessor (under Gauteng Assessors)

·         The following documents are required, please have them ready to upload;

o   CIPC Business registration certificate

o   A valid tax clearance certificate

o   BEE certificate or Sworn Affidavit

o   Proof of Public Liability insurance
