Appointment of Sales, Merchandising, and Promotions Representative Agent in Lesotho

May I take this opportunity to inform your good office that the Government

of Lesotho introduced reserved businesses for local companies in terms of

Art. 34 and Schedule 16 of Business Licensing and Registrations, 2020. See

the attached copy enclosed herein for your reference.

Revenue Services Lesotho (RSL) has issued a notice concerning Agents of

Foreign Firms, which will come into operation as of 01st April 2025. See the

attached notice enclosed for your reference. This measure may affect the

operations of existing companies that are exporting goods to Lesotho.

The Private Sector Foundation of Lesotho (PSFL), as the business association

in Lesotho, humbly requests your good office to notify your membership about

this development. The PSFL is in a position to link the exporters with the

local agents if needs arise.
