Continuing with our successful start – Boston invests in South Africa’s future

A decision taken in Stellenbosch at the Academic Head Office of Boston turned education sideways in 2019 and opened new and varied opportunities for learners who needed a financial boost in order to proceed with Higher Education . At Boston, we have witnessed students overcome obstacles and push through to graduate. However, there are those students that have all the ingredients for success but are precluded from achieving a higher education qualification due to lack of financial support.

Education is too important for the growth and development of individuals and South Africa to be hindered by financial restraints. So the team at Boston set about to create a solution that would assist all students. We believe that prospective students deserve to be given an opportunity to succeed.

So, in the spirit of Ubuntu—a person is a person through other people—Boston has committed to partnering financially with companies who wish to see their employees succeed, and be able to contribute more to your company and its success.

This joint investment on the part of Boston and the corporate will mean that prospective students enrolling in one of the many Higher Certificates on offer at Boston will get a chance to pursue their dreams and take ownership of their futures. The corporate (you) benefits not only by having better qualified staff, but also they are able to earn more BEE points as well as claim the sponsored training on their WSP and ATR forms due on 30 April 2020.  Boston will invest up to a third of the fees for a Higher Certificate and corporates, invited  to sponsor students,  will be required to contribute the remaining fees.  I believe that in this programme Boston stands out as absolutely unique amongst the Higher Education providers in South Africa.

The benefits of providing study opportunities at Boston, including international accreditation, study anywhere anytime so no transport or time off work needed , access to tutors via skype, and more.
