Advantages of becoming a member of Westrand Tourism :

We thank you for your interest in becoming a member of Westrand Tourism (inc. Krugersdorp Publicity Association).

Herewith a mission statement of Westrand Tourism :

  • Westrand Tourism is an autonomous, non-profit organisation that furnishes information to the many inquiries about undertakings and products
  • The Association distributes maps of Mogale City (Krugersdorp) and other parts of the West Rand area
  • The Association arranges excursions and entertainment for globetrotters including visitors to local organisations and businesses
  • The Association introduces Mogale City (Krugersdorp) and surroundings to the public and the outside world by means of press, radio, films, brochures, exhibitions and several other projects
  • The Association liaisons with Publicity Associations throughout the country and has brochures on almost all holiday and pleasure resorts
  • The Association assists the service organisations where possible, and promotes the interests of its members
  • The Association also distributes a newsletter, wherein we encourage our members to announce their interests and also inform us about special offers, which is very beneficial to yourself and our members
  • We offer an accommodation booking service

The annual membership fee at present, is R627.00 including a link of your existing website to www.thewestrand.co.za

To create your own webpage within our site, we offer you the best rates available :

  • Creating a webpage with thumbnail photographs & 250 words text will cost you R300.00
  • Annual webpage fee will cost you R200.00

By becoming a member you would :

  • Be listed on our website free of charge (www.thewestrand.co.za). The Association was awarded by IAFT for the best website!
  • Receive and be allowed to contribute to a quarterly newsletter
  • Be able to display brochures/advertising material on your product in our offices
  • Benefit from our accommodation booking service
