Eskom has again advised the West Rand Chamber that Load shedding Stage 2 will be implemented on Saturday 18th April according to the schedule for April issued earlier.
Mogale Municipality will therefore be “powerless” from 14:00 to 18:00 on Saturday – and it could take up to 30 minutes before power is again restored.
Mogale Business and residents must therefore be prepared to be “powerless” from 14:00 to 18:30 on Wednesday.
Although Eskom has not yet announced the prognosis for tomorrow, I suspect that STAGE 2 will again apply because the pumped storage facilities have been depleted and Eskom will use the weekend to replenish the water in the storage dams. Mogale City will then also not receive power form ESKOM from 14:00 to 18:00
